CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE/CODE OF CONDUCT UNIT Objectives and activities The Conduct and Discipline Unit is part of the Office of the Executive Representative of the Secretary-General. It is in charge of issues of conduct and discipline for all categories of staff of BINUB as well as for associated and contracting personnel. The Unit ensures the diffusion of information on United Nations rules and regulations and on the standards of conduct within the United Nations. The Unit monitors the maintenance of good conduct and discipline and receives all complaints, including for exploitation and sexual abuse. Complaints Any report or complaint for misconduct or for an act possibly constituting a misconduct by a staff member of the United Nations or any associated personnel can be directly addressed to the Conduct and Discipline Unit. The registration of a complaint doesn't imply the automatic engagement of the responsibility of the United Nations or their Personnel. False or unjustified complaints are not admissible.
